The ball is normally held in the New Orleans Superdome but will be in the Convention Center again in 2024 while the Superdome renovation continues.

20,000+ dressed in formal attire arrive at the Convention Center at 6:30pm to get set up and await the entrance of Mardi Gras’ Main Event, The Endymion Parade! Your audio/visual senses will go crazy as the gigantic floats arrive around 8:30, complete with pyro, confetti, and laser lighting! After the parade, Endymion continues its tradition of providing the best local and national entertainment in Mardi Gras. You’ll dance the night away (literally) until 3:30am!

Important Details:

  • Full length gowns for the ladies. You might want to avoid actual "floor" length considering what will be on the floor. Tuxes for the non-rider boys.

  • Ticket is your arm band and includes the Table Number.

  • Priority sections include food and beverages but you can BYOB.

  • Bring your party cup. You will appreciate the lids and straws.

  • You may start the night with pretty shoes but girls often bring some comfy ones to slip into and something to tie up your gown (rubber band, scrunchy, etc) since the dancing will be on a wet floor covered in beads.
